AgY zeolite as catalyst for the selective catalytic oxidation of NH3

چکیده
Ag-exchanged Y zeolites (Si/Al = 2.5; Ag/Al 0.30–0.95) have been tested in the NH 3 –SCO reaction, most promising method for elimination of ammonia emissions, and deeply characterized before after reaction by using a variety techniques (XRD, TEM, UV–Vis, 109 Ag NMR, XAS spectroscopies). The active centres are 0 nanoparticles (NPs) formed under reduction conditions both activity selectivity to N 2 increase with silver loading. NPs dramatically modified conditions, being them dispersed resulting small clusters even atomically + cations, latter accounting around half atoms. presence water into feed promotes dispersion oxidation nanoparticles, but catalyst performance is only slightly affected. results fully consistent previously proposed i-SCR mechanism on catalysts. • Silver AgNaY hydrogen sites reaction. conversion increases species change during course identified

Modeling Transport Phenomena in Selective Catalytic Reductant Catalytic Converter with NH3 as Reductant for NO Degradation
In the current study, reduction of nitrogen oxide from exhaust gas in the presence of NH3 as reductant on selective catalytic reductant (SCR) impregnated catalytic converter was simulated using Comsol© software. Mass transfer (one-dimensional) and heat transfer (three-dimensional) governing equations were taken into account to model the unsteady state behavior of the catalytic converter. Modeli...

Iron-doped Mn-Ce/TiO2 catalyst for low temperature selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3.
The catalysts of iron-doped Mn-Ce/TiO2 (Fe-Mn-Ce/TiO2) prepared by sol-gel method were investigated for low temperature selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with NH3. It was found that the NO conversion over Fe-Mn-Ce/TiO2 was obviously improved after iron doping compared with that over Mn-Ce/TiO2. Fe-Mn-Ce/TiO2 with the molar ratio of Fe/Ti = 0.1 exhibited the highest activity. The results...
متن کاملLow temperature selective catalytic reduction of NOx with NH3 over Mn-based catalyst: A review
The removals of NOx by catalytic technology at low temperatures (100–300 °C) for industrial flue gas treatment have received increasing attention. However, the development of low temperature catalysts for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NOx with ammonia is still a challenge especially in the presence of SO2. The current status of using Mn-based catalysts for low temperature SCR of NOx wi...
متن کاملZeolite-confined Nano-RuO(2): A green, selective, and efficient catalyst for aerobic alcohol oxidation.
The development of green, selective, and efficient catalysts, which can aerobically oxidize a variety of alcohols to their corresponding aldehydes and ketones, is of both economic and environmental significance. We report here the synthesis of a novel aerobic oxidation catalyst, a zeolite-confined nanometer-sized RuO(2) (RuO(2)-FAU), by a one-step hydrothermal method. Using the spatial constrai...
